In this individual project, I was tasked to film a Vox Pop interview with any chosen topic of my choice. I had to plan, direct and shoot a 3 minutes long video. 

Since this was the first solo production that I had to work on, one notable challenges I faced was venturing outside my comfort zone, particularly when shooting in the bustling streets of Orchard, teeming with people. I recall feeling a great deal of stress due to the crowded surroundings. It was my first time taking the initiative to approach strangers and ask if they were willing to help me on a school project, as I harboured a fear of potential rejections.

This project was definitely an eye opener to me, as I was slowly adapting to learning more about production, and I knew this will prepare me for future related production. 

Background story explaining my selection of this interview's topic: 

In selecting the theme 'Are You Happy?' for this interview, my intention was to bring in the emotional connection that I could have with my interviewees, and could possibly raise awareness about the importance of mental well-being and the factors that contribute to happiness through my video.
